A wonderful voice of rock and roll before the British Invasion.
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the best of men!

I saw him live 4 nights in a row in 1978 at a small outdoor venue in Central Park. I was a telephone repairman at the time and one of my jobs was to fix the vandalized emergency phones in the park. The Police provided the tickets. The shows were absolutely amazing. To this day I don't know how a guy that big could do such a physical show. I was a fan indeed. 2 LPs, an 8 track and a cassette. Me and a few buddies will be playing Bat out of hell tonight.
