Gerald Luidens, was electrocuted while working yesterday in Aruba.
Gerald was the husband of Sanju Luidens, Chief Marketing Officer of the Aruba tourism Authority.

Our condolences to Sanju and family.

Gerald was also the one of the owners of King Ribs...(a family business)

I read that a police officer in Aruba, Tino Ruiz, was killed in the line of duty yesterday. From what I could figure out, it seems like it was a domestic violence call in Noord and the officer was hit in the head by a cinder block. The other office on the call shot and killed the assailant. It was an isolated incident.

My brother is a police officer and always says domestic calls are always the worst as you never know what you will encounter. Prayers for all involved.
Hopefully we'll be back in Spring 2018

Mrs. B finally earned her "wings" this am. Made sure she went home peacefully. Stayed with her till the end.
