    We boarded Carnival’s Freedom this morning and are settled.
    The cabin is typical and we are unpacked.
    Not much to report … it was kind of interesting watching the “drug sniffing dog” point out 2 older people during embarkation.
    We had to line up with our luggage in front of us and the dog walked by. He signaled an “irregularity “ with the luggage in front of 2 women to Paul’s left.
    They and their luggage were led someplace while we got onboard.
    Some people just don’t get it.
    Better them than me.

    Great to read about this cruise. Happy to hear that you are settling in. When do you actually set sail or are you out at sea now?

    I'd love to read about Grand Turk and whether you and Paul might consider it for a short stay-put vacation, say 5-7 days. It's a place I have considered for this coming fall.

    Paul reminded me that we too are criminals.
    We brought homemade Kahlua onboard in plastic flasks sold on Amazon for prime purpose of sneaking booze onboard.
    Come to find out we have a booze pkg “drinks on us” with our offer.
    I just washed down a Nexium with Tito’s.

    Rough waters and the ship is rocking a bit since noon yesterday.
