    Strange consequences of the virus

    Good afternoon,

As everyone has said on here, in the media and all over the world, life has changed, at least for the time being.

Here is something I hadn't thought of till this morning when I went to the Shell station to get gas. As part of my regular gas-buying routine, I bought a lottery ticket. The jackpot today is $70,000,000.00.

Everybody who buys a ticket from their local, provincial, state or national lottery has had the same conversation, 'What would we do if we won?'

My question is to my friends here is; has the current crisis (And it is a crisis) changed what you think you would do?

Lots of time to think before we talk about closed borders and closed stores. Even the lottery office where you would go to pick up your cheque and have your picture taken is is closed.

Any other 'different' consequences of the virus/lockdown where you are.

If I won the lottery now, it don't think my plans would be much different than before this pandemic except maybe add a few new places to donate money and add the better air filtration system to the house.

Other consequences of the the lockdown-I will finally get stuff done around the house and I am getting out and walking when it is not raining.

I wouldn't change much, with some of the winnings I'd buy all of the stock I could at these low prices and wait for the market to rebound. I'd definitely up my donations to charities. Other than that just hang out and see what happens.

this is my pledge for a huge win:
*share with my family and friends
*make many contributions to charities non profits
*buy EVERY home on a certain relative's street (except that person's) and rent them out to the State Dept or criminally insane and sexually deviants. Use them for rehab houses.
