I know how I would feel about it...I would not like it at all. I don't go out to dinner to "punch in" my own order. I thought this is what the waiter/waitress did?I would never revisit a spot that had those and may not even stay to do it in the 1st place. It seems so impersonal.

we had never used tablets before for the full menu.
I was not sure if I liked the concept.

were you able to get a receipt to pass in to your casino host for reimbursement?

I doubt your obnoxious side is horrible.
you are pretty easy going and kind...however maybe in your mind you were "obnoxious", but I bet you really weren't.

I like a nice glass of wine with dinner. Here in Vegas the restaurants have some amazing wines. When you hand me a tablet and expect me to search for it myself I find it annoying. Best to provide the guest with a list or have someone who knows the list make a suggestion. My feeling is this is an easy way for them to do their inventory.

Coming to and end of our vacation. Tomorrow is our last full day. I’m exhausted! There is no way that Vegas can compare to Aruba when it comes to relaxation. This morning we grabbed a taxi over to the Cosmopolitan as we were thinking of it for a future stay. Well, I’m glad we went because neither of us thought it would be a good fit. We played slots for a bit and then headed back. The taxi driver long hauled us even though I called him out on it. The ride back was more than double the trip over! So... no tip

The rest of the day was spent gambling which for me meant walking back and forth between casinos. I’ve been averaging about 13,000 steps a day on my Fitbit without even trying. Hopefully it will help me work off the desserts we’ve been enjoying. Today it was chocolate dipped cheesecake from Carlos Bake shop.

Taxi drivers are notorious in Vegas for long hauling. I know I should just download the Uber app. Fortunately, it was the only time this week we used a taxi.

Happy belated Birthday. Nice trip report! Macaroons! I have to stay away from those. I don't know why but I can never control myself. In Aruba Bully took me to Bright Bakery and they had some which I bought about a dozen. I think I ate them all the same day! Some pastiche made it to the room. LOL

Happy Belated Birthday, Peg. Loved the report. We have not been to Las Vegas since we started traveling to Aruba. I do miss it. it is hot there but the casinos are plenty cool. So glad your stay was so wonderful. You did receive a lot of special TLC which you deserve. That makes your visit all the better. This was a perfect place to spend your Birthday. Not like Aruba but a differrent kind of happy.

Thanks Sue! We’re back home and the things I miss most are Grimaldi’s pizza, fresh strawberries and the chocolate dipped cheesecake from Carlos. Everything food related of course!
