Weird Coincidences

Lately, it seems like strange coincidences are happening more often. Today was a good example.

We needed a new dishwasher and opted to use an installer that our appliance guy recommended. The installer was talkative and I realized we were about the same age. He went to a neighboring high school and was a year behind us. I asked him if he knew someone Stu and I knew growing up(5-6th grade). The person we knew was a year behind us(same as my brother) but we all hung out together since we were in the same religious groups. The installer was good friends in high school with our friend and told me his sister had recently moved back from Florida because he installed a stove top for her recently and he told me the area where she was living. After he left this morning, I had some stuff to do, but this afternoon I looked up her info because I could not remember her second husbands name and I could only remember her last name from her first marriage. I wanted to contact her and give her some info and to see how she was doing and how her brother was doing. It has been a good 10 years since we have connected. I get her contact info and a short time later, I log on to our local paper and check the obits only to find her husband's obit that was uploaded this afternoon(it was not there this morning). The funeral is tomorrow right around the corner from where I am going to donate blood. Is this odd or what?

There is definitely an energy in the air. I tell Tom that all the time. It’s too bad it was sad news.
