This article helped put my mind at ease, and gave me a different viewpoint on wearing a mask. If course this is just one study and I cannot comment on the author's credibility, but it takes about particles in the air and how the virus gets passed.

I’ve had that problem. It usually means the file is too large. When you select the file for upload there is an option at the bottom to change the file size. If you change it to small it should upload. If you don’t see that option you can email it to yourself saving it to a smaller size and then try uploading. The forums photo posting option isn’t the best.

Well, the governor announced the 4 phase plan for reopening Massachusetts. Each phase will be a minimum of 3 weeks. Of course, depending on what’s trending, they certainly could be longer than 3 weeks. It’s going to be baby steps. Not a bad thing in my opinion.

Construction and manufacturing can start up today, May 18th. People waiting for a haircut will have to wait until the 25th. Still a lot of restrictions along with the now Stay Safe at Home advisory. There is a lengthy report outlining all the various businesses and what phase they’re in.

Restaurants will be continuing with take out/delivery only, until Phase 2 when some limited dine in options will be available. I expect our favorite local spot, Grumpy’s is looking forward to reopening. Today they had new awnings installed and they have been refreshing the space inside. All a good sign, especially since we are hearing of permanent restaurant closings in the area.

As anxious as I am to get back to a somewhat normal state, I appreciate the cautious approach to reopening.

That's pretty similar to Connecticut. May 20th is the day. It was supposed to include hair salons but without the use of blow dryers. Then yesterday governor amended that to allow blow dryers. THEN today, at the request of apparently quite a number of salon owners, he's delayed it to June 1st to give them more time to make changes. I'm okay with it but I plan on being one of my salon's first customers. I'm not enjoying the slow but steady reveal of just how gray my hair really is now. Grrrrrrrrr.........

I have a great deal of confidence in our governor and see that he's making good decisions based on appropriate input from experts.

My colorist either has you pick up your color mix or yesterday, I went to her house. We both wore masks, she colored my hair and I went home and waited the 35 minutes and washed it out myself. Of course she lives right behind me so it was easy and she doesn't have to blow dry my hair. But that was usually the way we did it anyway without the masks in the past.

I don't like what I see either on me. Between my natural color, the grey, the dye and the highlights, it's not pretty. I wear a baseball cap in public now. I also really need it cut. I let it grow out before we go to Aruba so I can pull it back. I was supposed to have it cut when we returned, but everything was shut down. I haven't had it trimmed since November.
