AA Have your flights been impacted with changes or cancellations?

I am seeing lots of complaints on social media about AA and their short notice of changes and or cancellations.

Please check your AA flights if you are able.

Watched the clip on the news this morning and I'm glad we'll be with JetBlue again. Can't help but think that the disruption with impact short flights and the longer (more money) flights will feel less of an impact.
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the best of men!

Coming to paradise in late October and AA has already changed our flight times twice. The latest change has created an overnight layover for us in CLT. AA CSR told me that we should expect further changes in the coming weeks.

Welcome to the forum ARStateRep! Airlines are having a hard time getting back to 100%. Bear with them and don't take it out on the staff, they are trying as hard as they can.

We are flying AA in late October and so far, no changes have been made. I anticipate at least something changing, but so far so good.

Ours changed for August - return flight now has only one option to get home in one day which is through philadelphia to st louis. Good news is I got the flight to aruba changed to go through miami instead of charlotte, which I prefer.

On the new tonight they said there are several reason for the issues. The big one is that AA furloughed a lot of pilots and they now to retrain before they can fly again. To make matters worse, the recently retired older planes and the pilots need to be trained to fly the new planes. They are still having staffing issues in other areas, too. These issues will take most of the summer to resolve.
