    Departing Aruba.....Boarding Pass

Recent Aruba travelers.........have you been able to use a smart phone boarding pass or are they still only accepting the paper boarding pass?

I don't believe they are using smartphone passes. I printed out my boarding pass at the hotel before checking in and JetBlue printed me a new one at the airport anyway on the ticket paper that they always use. I think maybe it had something to do with scanning the boarding pass at the automated Aruba customs exit?

As of March 1, 2019 you should now be able to use a mobile boarding pass at the Aruba Airport but....for exact details you need to check with your airline. (See attached photo)

but is that sufficient at the first man outside who you see before walking in or is that at the gate? I can't seem to find an answer to that question. I want to know if Aruba at its different points accepts that, not the airlines

you are asking if Aruba Immigration takes the phone boarding pass?
if the airlines are accepting it and not requiring one to print, then it seems logical to figure that it works all the way thru.........Aruba Immigration and US Customs and boarding the plane.
it would be counter productive if only one area accepted it and the other(s) did not.

Thanks Andrea, that is what I was trying to find out. I know United takes it at their gate but I remember that the guy outside did not take it, you needed a paper boarding pass. So when it was announced it would change, I was hoping it meant all the way through from outside the terminal until your gate
