    Fort Lauderdale Airport FLL

How easy is it to navigate through FLL? Jet Blue has had some very reasonable fairs for us to Aruba, connecting through FLL. The issue I see is there is only a 35 minute layover. It's a late morning connection, around 10:30. Is that a route to even consider? If we miss the connection we'd have to stay overnight, as there is no other flight to the island later in the day.

Paul and I find FLL easy to navigate.
However, we find that the Jet Blue gate areas at the FLL airport is crowded, insufficient seating in the gate areas and pretty much a run down tired Jet Blue area.

A 35 min layover gives you "no wiggle room" if your 1st leg flight is delayed.

Thanks Andrea. We don’t currently need any flights, so more for future reference. They had a one way fair for $180pp, which is very reasonable for us. Really haven't considered them lately, as their itinerary hasn't been favorable and their fares high in comparison.

I’ve connected through FLL on JetBlue three times. I’ve never had a layover that short and wouldn’t risk it. The shortest i’ve had was 55 minutes and it was plenty of time as there were no issues.

The airport is easy to navigate and in my experience, the connection is in the same terminal so you just have to walk to another gate not far away. It is crowded and low on seating, like Andrea said. People sitting on the floor and clustered around.

it is also low on usb chargers and outlets that work.

the bathrooms in the jet blue FLL gate area ares far from being adequately clean.

35 minutes is to close for my liking. Really don’t understand why they’d even offer that option.

We recently traveled to San Diego thru Philly with a 41 minute layover. I normally wouldn’t have taken it but we were using our travel voucher on A/A and it was an early flight. Plus we couldn’t have gotten on another flight that day if we missed the connection. We literally got off the plane, hiked to a different terminal and walked on the next flight. Made it just in time.
