THINK.. is it Thoughtful? Helpful? Inspirational? Necessary? Kind? SIDTM
One of the FB postings said that one of the aruba local news agencies said that there was air turbulence causing the injury, but that was discounted by some folks that were passengers.
Thanks Dianne!

Wow, that is a great info source, Hatteras.
Sorry to hear about the mishap. We don't know how severe the flight attendant's injury was, hopefully minor, but they may have been better landing in Miami for medical care.
We once had to make an emergency landing after leaving Aruba due to a mechanical issue with the plane and landed in Miami.
Walt, that's a joke, right??
Walt, we've been at the hospital in Aruba for a joint injury (one of our relatives) while on vacation (pre Pandemic). My wife is is a nurse and accompanied her to the hospital.
The "care" provided of taking x-rays and treatment bordered on incompetence by US standards.
Her injury was not diagnosed properly and the wait there for treatment took hours. Maybe a bad day, but not something we would want to experience again.
Have you ever been to the hospital in Aruba?
Pop pop Brian I have been to Aruba’s hospital.
Once food poisoning. Another ear infection and another time son had to get stitches.
Good care !
I would not hesitate to go to Aruba hospital.

It's a 3 hour flight from Aruba to Miami. Better to seek treatment right away before the swelling, inflammation and pain occurs. If she needed surgery she could then opt to see an orthopedic in the states afterwards.
