    NO MORE MASKS on planes

I did not read the whole thing, but a federal judge said NO MORE MASKS on planes.
My guess is anywhere the federal mandate said YES, this now is NO!

Glad that we can all be grown up enough to decide if we want to wear a mask or not.

I will continue to wear at crowded areas. (airport lines, cruise embarkation lines, Walmart .....yuk)

I read this news earlier today. I hope another judge doesn't overturn the decision!

According to NYT (so take it with a grain of salt), I read it and apparently a federal judge ruled that basically the CDC was overstepping its authority. We'll see what happens, we travel Friday.

I am so glad this mandate was overturned. I don't believe that a mask will give you any protection unless it's a properly fitted N95. And right now I do think it's about protecting oneself. So if you want a choice, you now have it. Can't wait until our trip, and hope there aren't any surges prior to.

good.... the trick to not wearing the mask when they wanted us to was to constantly have a drink going to my mouth - lol

Yup with all the drinks I have on the plane, i think I was well protected from the virus.

Seriously, from the get go they told us that the planes air filter is supposed to kill 99.9% of any virus yet they made passengers wear masks? What for to have 100% protection or the other 0.1% protection? What really bothered me about the masks requirement in an aircraft was the BS the flight attendants had to go thru. They had to enforce the rules and in the process it just caused a lot of issues with people getting into arguments, brawls, flight attendants being attacked, passengers being evacuated, flights being delayed. This was one hot mess!

it is so crazy between NY & NJ. I live about 12 miles from NY. So if I take a bus into the city from NJ I don’t have to wear a mask on the bus as of today. BUT as soon as I get off the bus I must wear a mask in the port authority bus terminal and on the subway. Newark airport dropped mask mandate but not the NY airports. So crazy since NY & NJ are so close to one another. Aside from all the rules I will use my judgment and wear a mask when in crowds.
