    Ouch! Big Fare Increase

I was checking round trip fares on JetBlue outta Boston for our end of June trip this year. Thank goodness we booked in November. Currently non-stop From Logan would be $1266 more for the two of us if we waited til now to book. And we thought the price was high when we booked! Pricing all around is getting nuttier than ever!

Hi Cp, tell me about it. Prices have doubled since last year here in the UK for flight + hotel. The price we used to pay for both of us is now the cost for one of us!
Just checked travel insurance too, and that has tripled...

Two weeks ago I booked JFK-AUA on Delta for April 28 to May 12 using 132,000 miles each for first class. Seems like a bargain…..
Holding off on booking our July 3-17 and October 6-20 trips. Right now I’m seeing between $1700 and $1800 for first class. However, when I check the seat maps, the planes are practically empty. So we wait and see what happens. In the meantime I will just keep checking.

Bit the bullet and paid ~$3600 for two first class tickets on Delta, they aren't getting any cheaper. What the heck, we deserve it!

Tell me about it! I've seen huge increase for MINT on Jet Blue.

Also I'm not seeing too many available time share on Interval for exchange. Usually I'm able to secure an exchange for May and September by November or December of the previous years. The few I do see available are Friday to Friday check in like Reneissance. I wanted to go for my birthday in May. That week MINT is getting full and round trip is like 2K. I did find Delta at $1300 like Walt.

Prices are nuts! If I did not have such a large air credit there is zero chance I would pay these rates at this time in my life. Here is hoping these crazy prices are not here to stay.
Trip 38 booked for Feb! Cant wait.
