    The "Window Shade"

If by chance you have the window seat, do you like she shade UP of DOWN.
    I like UP.
Paul likes down and if he wearing his "window nazi hat", he keeps that shade shut down tight.
Me I like it mostly up except when the sun is pouring in on me.

Most of the time we are seated aisle and aisle.
I say to him PLEASE DO NOT put on the "window nazi hat" when a stranger is sitting there.

    Your thoughts?

If it’s a sunny day, I like it down as it’s just too bright. It goes up about a half hour before landing as I like to watch the approach. However, when heading to Vegas I’m more apt to leave it up because the landscape is so interesting. Guess I just can’t make up my mind!!

Up please.... but we sit adjoining aisles too.... so that negates our vote.

Isn't it a great feeling when the plane approaches and then first thing I notice is the Terra Del Sol golf course and the California Lighthouse.

It depends. During takeoff and landing, I’d prefer to have it up. I typically prefer an aisle seat though. My rule is, if you want to control the window you should book the seat

makes no difference to me since when you are flying, you only see clouds. once we are on the "final approach", then of course up.

Yes! first thing to notice is the Terra Del Sol golf course and the California Lighthouse, then trying to see own house in vicinity

Hubby and I usually sit across from each other on the aisle. I always hope that the window seat will keep the shade up for take off and landing especially in Aruba so I can say "hi" and look for the condo and say "goodbye"(much sadder).

Pam likes the aisle, I like the window. I will book my seat depending on the view out the window. The left side of the plane for Aruba so I can see the island arriving and departing. The right side for Oahu to see Diamond Head and the skyscrapers of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Shade is always up when in the air. I know, I'm weird...
