    Smile Is Aruba still best place to retire in Carribean?

    Is Aruba still best in Carribean? Is crime still low? For an up to date review, how does Aruba compare with other islands?

    Under a hut, walking Eagle Beach, lunch on the beach, Amstel Bright Beer on the beach, coffee in the morning on the beach, taking a dip in the sea,
    Retire there could be a Problem. Now if you got plenty of $$$ its a great place to retire. But think those of us over 65 who want Medicare to be part of our retirement is the #1 problem. If I read Medicare rules right it does not cover you out of the country. Guess you could get on a plane and get back to the States for a major operations.
    >>> " best in Carribean?"
    --- I guess Medicare covers you if in P.R. or one of the U.S. islands down that way. Need to get the Medicare book out.
