There computer systems are not from the 1990s...they know how often you come and how long you stay. I agree that staying over 180 days is not very cost effective.

Aruba does change its tax laws frequently.
Following but would really like to hear from an American, who is retired and has residency here in Aruba.....one of you can help the OP and a few others that are following. Again the OP is not asking about how long he or she can stay but about taxes. TIA!

You can find more detailed tax information here: https://arubatax.com/aruba-tax-info/If you’re not a resident, you’re not subject to income tax in Aruba, provided you do not have taxable Aruba income. The length of your stay, not exceeding 183 days, is a test to determine residency.
