I have had tubs with Lou for 6 or 7 years. I am up to 8 tubs. Can you believe that? I leave 10 sets of snorkle gear. 7 unerwater seadoo scooters for snorkling and batteries and chargers. We leave all our xtra stuff so we don't throw paper stuff and laundry soap away. I leave 12 aruba shirts and 4 pair of shoes and sandals. 3 pair of shorts and swim trunks. When I go to Aruba, I jump on the plane with what I am wearing and the rest is over there waiting on me. Its the best thing I have ever done and you e-mail Lou 2 or 3 weeks before you arive and the tubs are at your resort. He has never left me down. Thumbs up for Lou and JoAnne
We are planning on signing up and are wondering/looking for tips or ideas or the little things that others do or have learned not to do regarding storing stuff until they return.. Any insight other than the obvious (which at times is not very) would be greatly appreciated![]()
Andrea is a pro of what she can fit in her bin. I have no where as much stuff and my bin is always at almost full weight of 50 lbs. Though this time Lou emailed me that I am 4lbs overweight when he picked up my bin in April. Make sure you have any spillable liquids/creams (sunblock, shampoos, etc.) in zipper storage bags. http://www.aruba.com/forum/f7/storage-40118/
as liz says ziplock bags for liquids
we don't have much heavy stuff......1 pr paul fins and 1 pair zoomers for me are the heavy items.
no towels
we put our clothing is bags as wel with a sheet or 2 of fabric softener to keep it a decent smell.
everything in my bin has always remained dry and smell free.
I use the service and it is great. We leave all our snokel gear, sunscreen and lotions along with our toiletries. Beach bag, small collapsable cooler. We just bring carryons with our clothes, can hop off the plane and head to the resort. First year I tried leaving clothes, but never knew what I left and if I would like it. They got quite wrinkled in the space bags also.
This is more of a timeshare question: I have heard that some places allow you to store items we use during the year so we don't have to lug things back and forth. Does anyone know if the Marriotts do this and if there is a rental fee? (Duh, as if they would do it for nothing.) LOL! Thanks much.

i wish someone would do something for nothing??!!!
maybe one of our marriott experts (dannyo or others) might comment?
