Since they don't use plastic bags anymore, what do you get your groceries in at Ling's?

the grocery stores all sell reusable fabric bags
bring a few from home to use.

the "divi" fabric bags that are given out at the airport are not sturdy and rip easily.

I have to look into these reusable fabric bags. I just heard that NYC passes a law to charge a tax on the supermarket plastic bags. The law was supposed to go into effective in October but it was delayed until February 2017. What will they think of next?

I love the big bags from Superfood. I use them at home for all sorts of carting things around. Of course I almost always forget to bring them food shopping with me!

So when you grocery shop in Aruba they don't give you anything to put your groceries in? Like...at all?

They'll put stuff in a box but they're in short supply...they have reusable bags for sale at the cash as well.

The locals seethed with envy when I whipped this out:

I don't have any of those (recyclable bags or costco/bj cooler bags) I guess I'll have to invest in something before I visit Aruba. Maybe I'll just bring my beach bags. I have plenty of those (and even some that are not in the greatest shape that I was going to throw away).

    Thanks for the advice.

Thanks so much. Any idea how much they cost at the grocery store? (Just in case we run out). [must remember to eat PRIOR to going to the grocery store to prevent overbuying lol]
