Speciality Wine to Bring Back Home

Looking for a special bottle of wine to bring back as a Secret Santa gift, any ideas of wines that would not be found back in the states? I purchased a cute wine holder now just need a bottle for it. couple years back there was talk about a Lost symphony not sure if this was wine or an after dinner drink but is that still on the island and if so what would you describe the taste as?

    Any help appreciated.

Lost Symphony was from Amadeus Restaurant.
I think that the chef/owner made it.
It was a liqueur ...a sweet after dinner drink.
Paul and I brought home 3 bottles over the years and still have half of one left.
I do not know if it can be found anywhere on Aruba.

I am by no means a wine expert...I rarely drink it.............it makes me sweat.......seriously

Agree with Andrea that Lost Symphony is no longer available. It’s too bad as it was lovely. I still have a half bottle as well. What about Ponche Crema? I saw recently that they have a pistachio flavored one that sounds interesting.

How about some local rum? The Aruban Taste has lots of flavors-many of them unique.

Robin great suggestion. I was looking to bring something back this year that you can only get in Aruba. Looks like the might have some good liquors and other different stuff there. Might have to do the rum tasting looks like 30 different rums - then I will try to walk a straight line lol Any suggestions what to buy besides rum?

Agreed! I always return home with a box or 2 of cigars. But if you wanna smoke with rum you need a good sipping rum to accompany the cigar.

We bring back rum, and from SuperFoods: gouda, stroopwaffles, some Dutch chocolate, the Dutch wafers-they have chocolate, hazelnut and vanilla.
