Picking up from the cruise ship port

Even though we have been going to Aruba for many years, this year we will have friends coming in for the day on a cruise ship. As anybody picked up friends or family from the port? What is the easiest way or place to meet them? I don't know which berth they'll be in yet because they come in the very end of February.

regardless of the berth where they dock........there is one central debark/embark point.
your best bet is to park near the bus stop place and walk over or have them walk to you.
if they are frequent cruisers and have perks with the line, it will take them about 30 min from docking to debarkation.
if they have no perks, it can take upwards of 90 min.

what we have told friends that we have met coming in from cruise
get in a cab and get out at ( X) depending on where we are staying.

then we give them a ride back to the terminal.

very important reminder.....your friends must remain on "Ship's time"

I park on the street that has the Dimas building (the street that is across from Citgo). I arrange to meet cruise friends at the cement kiosk area....always has worked.

Both times we have met people from a cruise, we had them take a taxi. Both times they were an hour or so later than we expected them to be. That's a lot of waiting around when on vacation. If you still want to pick them up, maybe park downtown and plan to have them meet you at Iguana Joe's or Lucy's and you can enjoy lunch and people watching while you wait.
