Renting a car for the first time; and would love suggestion on things
we must do. Casinos's, beaches, and place to visit
I know day time will be lazy, sitting in my floatie either in the pool or the beach;
bringing my pink flamingo drink floatie too

In my 18 years of exploring Aruba I have discovered it is best not to have a plan but go exploring. I have met some of the most interesting people by be willing to go exploring. I would however suggest a trip to Charlies Bar in San Nicholas, a trip to the reflecting pool by Baby beach, topped of with dinner a Oneil's in San Nicholas

since you will be having a car at your disposal, you can plan numerous day trips to different beaches.
to name a few......Arashi, Boca Catalina Beach, Baby, Druif, Surfside

......and there is parking available at all I mention and an easy ride to those beaches.

I suggest going back to the MY ARUBA STORY section and reading the threads on what others have done.

If you have a car the best advice I can offer is to use it. We always enjoy driving around the island and just stopping at different places along the way. Along with the different beaches I'd say a trip to the lighthouse for sunset, Alto Vista church for sunrise, Casabari Rocks, and Urataka Center for pizza. San Nicholas is a great day trip, Charlie's Bar is fun, and the murals are something to see. And take a left at the big red anchor and drive over to Tortuga bar. It might be open, and watch the kite surfers.

Definitely visit other beaches, as mentioned above. Arashi, Boca Catalina, Baby Beach, Mangel Halto. I've never been to Surfside. (yet). Also check out restaurants in other areas, visit Hooiberg, California lighthouse, San Nicolas for sure. I think Kamini's Kitchen is good and worth a stop on the way from Baby Beach for lunch. O'Neil's Kitchen in San Nicholas is also very good.
