    Heading back to Aruba in October 2019

    Hi everybody,

    Pancreatic cancer can have a way of screwing up your travel plans but after being cleared to travel by both my surgeon and the oncologist we are heading back to Aruba this fall. We'll be there October 12-19, 2019.

    As with our two most recent vacations there, we'll be staying at Sunset Beach Studios.

    On the restaurant thing, we are looking forward to visiting some old favourites (Do I really have to explain El Gaucho?) and making some new discoveries.

    We’ve had to cancel a few times because of my husband’s health issues so I know how good it feels when you can get back to normal and start planning some traveling. Congrats on that. Happy planning!

    The Aruba Sunset Beach Studios are a wonderful place.
    The 3 oceanfront studios in the front are excellent and the garden views are pretty awesome too.

    So glad that you have a trip scheduled.

    Good morning,

    Thanks to everyone for your good wishes. The people on here really do make a person feel great.

    At Sunset Beach Studios we are staying n the same ocean front unit as before. Here's hoping that the good folks at SBS have been able to find some castors with brakes since we were last there so the bed doesn't keep rolling, an rolling and well, check out my TR under My Aruba Story, October 2015 to see what I mean.
