I speculate that some timeshare rentals will open up in December - usually a super busy and expensive time but maybe not so much this year. Maybe you could find a nice deal!

I agree, we'll be fine with takeout.

Hello! I am planning to arrive November 26 (Thanksgiving Day) and leave December 4, and am staying at the Oceania. I am a little nervous about getting the proper testing before I leave - Minnesota is one of the states that Aruba absolutely requires a negative covid test before entry - there's no testing at the airport. I found a place here that can turn one around - but there are so many variables where I live - one of them being weather. So, I am hoping that all of the planets align and everything will come off without a hitch.

yes Minnesota is a "hot state"
yes, you need a negative molecular PCR test prior to arrival.
there IS testing at the Aruba Airport and you CAN be tested there if your Covid test at home is not the kind that Aruba mandates (PCR/Molecular).
    https://www.aruba.com/us/traveler-he...ts#component-3

we too are in a "hot state" (Florida)
if we are unsuccessful getting a molecular per test prior to travel, we will get the rapid non per test and then test in Aruba and quarantine til results come.

we have been tested 2x so far using the per molecular nasal swab and the first time results came back in 9 days.
2nd time, results in 48 hrs.

we will be in aruba while you are there.

    you flying delta or AA?

I am flying Delta - I heard they are probably the safest airline to fly with. I am glad to know that if there is some kind of snafu with my test results, I can still get tested in Aruba!

    Thanks!

Oceania is great. We own there, so if you need any info, let me know.
