    Aruba Shipwreck snorkeling photos

    One of our biggest adventure in Aruba was definitely the shipwreck snorkeling! We never snorkeled at shipwrecks before, this was our first time, but it seems we enjoyed it a lot since we visited 3 wrecks while we were in the island First the majestic Antilla, then Baboo, the 3rd one, the Kappel Wreck was a big surprise since we didn't know about it and just disappeared in front of our eyes while snorkeling in Mangel Halto !

    your photos are awesome.

    we have snorkeled at mangel halto a number of times and only 2x have we seen that wreck.
    what happens to it? does it get buried in sand and then reappear when the current changes?

    Sorry for the late reply, I've just seen your question now

    I think it must be because of the bad visibility. Sometimes the visibility is really low and it is hard to spot the wreck. We snorkeled there 2 times, first time the water was so clear so it was easy to spot the wreck, on the other day the water was murky, and we were just swimming around: where is the wreck? But sure it did not get buried in sand
