In my opinion I would not buy preconstuction here on the island. One example is Aqua (now Radison Blu). Never opened as condos to the best of my knowledge..and they were selling pre construction more than 12 years ago.

We purchased pre-construction in 2017. We could sell at 150% of our investment. I would confirm with annf. Make sure you know the builder history and limit your down payment.

We recently purchased a condo pre construction Nov/20. Started being built in March 2021 and expected to be completed August/22. Condo is Wariruri Condos and is close to Oak Restaurant. Progressing very well. Owner is complete Gentlemen.

Does anyone have information on a pre construction property called Waykiri in Noord?
1.) Is it a reputable builder ?
2.) We are looking to buy but a little nervous. They are asking for a 10% deposit and overtime they make progress they take another 20% towards the balance. Worried about the project stopping and we are out of lot's of money.

I think you mean Wariruri project. Waykiri was finished in 2018. It is the same builder for both Waykiri and Wariruri. I just recently bought a resale at Waykiri and very happy with the purchase. Wariruri should be completed by the end of 2022. I am not sure if any units left for sale.
