    Shopping for household things.....Where?

We will be moving into our new condo next week and need to shop for some household items.
Coming from the Noord,Malmok area, is there any great stores nearby and or far away if it's worth the trip?

Some things I'm looking for include, kitchen counter bar stools, Beach chairs/like Tommy Bahamas. car cover,
small wet/dry shop vac, broom and cleaning supplies, bed linens etc etc.

    Thank You for any suggestions.

Tommy Bahama chairs are usually available at PriceSmart in December/January. They sell out fast. I was looking for them for a new owner and they are out. We bought our car cover at Island Asia years ago, but I think they have them at PriceSmart, NAPA, maybe WinTung. You can try PriceSmart for a wet/dry vac, DoIt or maybe Casa which is at SuperFood or Crown. I buy cleaning supplies at PriceSmart, DoIt or SuperFoods depending on what I need. I know OpOp has cleaning supplies as does WinTung, Lings. DoIt has a nice assortment of brooms and sometimes CASA does too. You won't find great linens here for the most part. Make sure you know the thickness of your mattress before you shop. PriceSmart has sheet sets that last about a year or two. You can find them at CASA, WinTung, Island Asia, Giselle, DoIt. Not sure of the quality. Crown, Ashley, Home & Nature, EQ3 and maybe DoIt or Flora. We are in Aruba until April 7th and I can help you out next week if you want.

Thank you, Robin, for all that info. Glad to hear that you are still there till the 7th. I'm probably going to take you up on
your kind offer to help. I don't have room in the luggage this time but will take down decent sheets when I head back in Nov.
We are only there this trip till mid-April.
Truthfully, we are not familiar with very much there but going to learn on the fly while living the Aruba life and
    escaping the NH winters.

Andrea, Thanks I wasn't sure if this request should have been in property owners or shopping so property owners it is....50/50 chance

    Everything that Robin said.

Furnishing items on the island are much different than the states, and we approach it like this. If it's a daily necessity, then buy it when you see it. For furnishings, if you fall in love with it, buy it, as it might not be there tomorrow. If you don't love it but need something to hold you over, then invest minimally, as you might find it next time you shop, whether there or someplace else. Don't expect to find everything you need in one store at one time. The variety and price can be different in every store, and is subject to change when the next container arrives. Don't hesitate to go through every door, until you find what you're looking for.

Too bad we're not on the island. The wife could shop all day long. Me, I'll take the root canal

    Have fun!

Yes, everything Robin said of course and also your great insight on the actual buying part of the shopping in Aruba.
Good advice to keep in mind while looking for the needs and wants which often are two different things.
I suppose there isn't much price shopping opportunities since if you snooze you might lose and not find again.
I had an inkling the buying and shopping in Aruba would be a little different than in NH or even Fl.
Well schexc, I do wish you were still on the island since my DH would rather get a root canal also after a drink...or 2, while your DW shopped with me.

Thanks for helping this clueless newbie

We are flying in next Mon. the 28th and if we don't close this week remote, we will have to close the 29th.
Planned to close remote with Notary the 25th so needed to set up a virtual video walk through first but might not work out now.
Just would have been easier to drive from the airport to our place since we are coming in too late to close the 28th.
