Aruba's vaccination plan
I was curious to find out if there are any plans regarding travelers already vaccinated vs. test; Aruba Tourism Authority responded:
“Thank you for reaching out. In regards to your question:
We wish to inform you that our local health department is looking into how vaccination will be worked into our entry requirements. As soon as this is established, it will be published on www.aruba.com. Keep checking back regularly for updates on this and other entry requirements.”
Rona says:
From press conference today: RIVM Netherlands is with a team of experts on Aruba for control. If everything is approved, the first vaccines will arrive on February 15.The four locations for vaccination are: Club Don Bosco (North), Colegio EPI (Oranjestad), Centro Libertador Betico Croes (Santa Cruz) and Santa Teresita Center (San Nicolas).
Dutch government has promised that by June Aruba will have received enough doses to vaccinate at least 85% of the population. Info from yesterday's presco. The vaccination media campaign has also started with prominent celebrities pitching in.
