    66% of those residents tested were positive


    From FRESH Aruba Radio via DVG
    Today's numbers . There have been 1,028 new infections, 929 of them among residents (local infection rate 66%). 692 people have been declared recovered . The total number of active cases now stands at 3,327. On average, there are 670 new cases per day with an average daily local infection rate of 61%. There are 21 Covid patients in hospital here, two of them in ICU . Three patients still in ICU in Colombia .

    When almost 1 percent of your population tests positive in ONE day its not good at all Wow are these results awful!

    There were only SIX patients in the hospital on 12/28 and now we have over 3x that amount!!!! These numbers are off the charts!

    I was on the plane today to come back to Aruba, and you should of heard all the coughing in the airports and planes!!! It was crazy!!!

    That is super concerning.

    I've been on planes where I saw people lower their masks to sneeze - seen this multiple times on flights in 2021. You can't make this stuff up.
