    From FRESH Aruba Radio
    Today's numbers. 14 new infections have been detected, 12 of them with residents (local infection rate 8 %). 17 people have recovered. The total number of active cases is now 156; 138 residents and 18 tourists. On average, there are 12 new cases per day with an average daily local infection rate of 9 %. There are currently 16 patients in an ICU in Colombia. Alhir there are four Covid patients in ICU and nine in Covid ward.

    Stats still good. Still wish the new cases were in the single digits. Hospitalization also appears to be coming down. The current daily rate is 12; hopefully the State Department / CDC will review and upgrade Aruba to Level 3. The criteria is 500 cases in 28 days or just under 18 per day average. Level 3 would recognize Aruba as improving. The case numbers and the good job they are doing with vaccinations should be recognized. Looking forward to coming back in November.

    It seems that 1 more death has been overlooked in these stats.
