    From Fresh Aruba Radio

    Today's numbers. 17 new infections have been detected, 15 of which were residents (local infection rate 8 %). Seven people have recovered. The total number of active cases is now 174; 161 residents and 13 tourists. On average, there are 14 new cases per day with a daily infection rate of 10 %. There are 16 patients in an ICU in Colombia. Alhir there are four Covid patients in ICU and nine in Covid ward.

    Andrea - thanks for your vigilance.

    Here I go with my stats : my calculations say 188 residents tested yesterday and 200 tested the day before with 15 and 32 positive.

    is this usual for so many residents getting tested? Symptomatic or contact tracing? just wondering. Does DVG have stats on new cases vaccinated vs not?

    Hoping this was isolated super spreader event - preventable in future.
