We got the antigen test for our flight back September 18th cost 35 at the mall by the high rise hotels.Got our results back within 3 hours. Nobody in Aruba checked our paperwork….not the airline…Delta…or any officials US or Aruban. Anyone else go thru without the test results being looked at?

Did you upload your test result to your airline app?

I did and think this may result in the agent not asking to see the result since I've been approved and am considered "travel ready" by United. We will see as we leave tomorrow.

Yea this is weird and inconsistent. Sometimes they check and sometimes they don't. When I landed in Aruba on 9/11 they did not ask for the PCR test only the ED Green Check Mark. When I left on 9/18 the Check in agent asked if I showed someone my test at the entrance of airport door. I said no one was at the door? She asked for the test and left for 5 minutes then came back and said you are set to go..I did not fill out anything online to come to USA.

Did you upload your test to the Aruba ED card system for your flight "to" Aruba? If so, then they had the result. When they scanned the green barcode from the ED card their computer screen showed your entry test had been approved. This is what happened to us.

We leave today and have uploaded our test to the United Travel Center. They say we are "travel ready". So we will see what they ask for at the airport. Spoke to someone who left yesterday and was "travel ready" and they were still asked for the test result at the United counter.

We took the antigen test at Manchebo for $50 each, results back within a few hours. All went well. AA required that we upload the results into the app (verifly) which is all we needed to do. No one asked to see it, but it was probably because AA and verifly share information.

That was a great link. So helpful. I am very surprised by the variation in pricing. But again, thanks so much. Arriving in two weeks so very useful for us.

Thanks Walt VB. Thank you to the forum members. Based on the guidance we received in 2020 we were able to get to Aruba before the return to US testing was required. We thought we would be cancelling our 2022 trip, but all of you are making us feel hopeful to go. We haven't missed a trip to Aruba for 18 years, and really appreciate all the help and guidance provided.

With the numbers starting to come down.... I think it may be a good time to go. Not so much a month ago!
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the best of men!
