    Pre-entry Testing?

We leave for Aruba July 3 at 7:25 am. We plan on testing Wednesday morning at either CVS or Walgreens, Is Abbott ID Now okay? What is the "thermal" sticker? We want to be sure to have the right test and also, to get results quickly.
    Thanks!

We did the AbbottIDNow test at a Walgreens in April and got the results in a couple of hours. Uploaded the results to the ED card site, paid the insurance and received our green checkmark before departing. I'm not sure what the thermal sticker is about, but the results we got back were accepted no problems. Have a great trip!

Hope I can help explain....We went to Aruba in both October and December of 2020. Each time we drove 1hr each way to test out of State b/c our local Walgreens didn't offer the Abbott ID NOW test at that time (or any in the area for that matter!). We went to Riverside Medical in NJ. Their process was as follows: pull up in your car to "sign in" for your appt and go to your assigned parking space. A nurse or tech comes out to your car and performs swab. You sit and wait and they deliver your test results to you in about 15mins. This is a hard-copy of your results and nothing gets emailed to you. This hard-copy has the "thermal" sticker on it. The thermal sticker is basically a small lab specimen label that is printed out of the machine that processes your Abbott ID NOW results. It contains patient info, type of test, results, date/time, and clearly states "ID NOW". Other data on our results page was hand-written, so the sticker confirms that it was the actual ID NOW test.

Fast forward to our May 2021 trip, we went to Walgreens for the Abbott ID NOW test. Simple self-swab (under supervision) drive-thru test. No waiting for results. You will receive an email (we got ours w/in 1hr) with your results. Just be sure to print/download the LAB PDF file (not the Easy Read PDF). This is the report that is accepted by Aruba (no thermal sticker provided or needed on this report). I submitted for ED card, it was approved, and I had a copy printed out to show at the airport.

Hope that helps to clarify :-)

Thanks all. Just back from Walgreens, tests done and waiting for results. Will be printing Lab results and filling out and printing Immigration forms. Hope we can fly through entry in Aruba. Are the quick-lines on the far left still open?

Oh well.... The good news is that we got negative test results back in less than 30 minutes! Now, on to the ED forms.

Forms all finished and ready to go. Do they check the ED paper with the green check mark when you leave the States as well as upon arrival? (Twenty visits but Covid protocols make me feel like a newbie!)
    Thanks for the help!
