This change will most likely make it difficult to get our results on time. We’re scheduled to arrive at 3:19 PM on a Tuesday. If we can’t test until after 3:19 PM on Sunday, two days prior, we might not get our results back in time for our first flight departure, which is scheduled for 5:30 AM, Tuesday morning. I can move our flights out one day, but I don’t know if this will help, Monday testing instead of Tuesday? The move keeps the same itinerary.

We are arriving in Aruba on 12/30 and had our Covid tests scheduled and conducted with Walgreens. Most of our Walgreen locations in Minnesota offer both a regular diagnostic lab test (PCR), where results are sent back within 72hrs, and a rapid diagnostic test (ID NOW), where results are sent back within 24hrs. Both tests are molecular and The ID NOW test is an approved test process by Aruba. Even with all the testing going on, we got our results (four tests) back from Walgreens in 8-9 hours. However note, with all the testing going on, you need to schedule your tests about a week in advance (earliest Walgreens allows) or run the risk of having no test times to choose from at a given location. Does anyone know how likely or unlikely it is that Aruba will close its borders? That happened to us 2 years ago. We missed our 20th consecutive trip because of covid. We plan to go in March.

schexc...you can test as early as 12:01 am on Sunday for a Tuesday departure.

We have a few Walgreens locations that offer the Abbot ID NOW test. We'll just have to coordinate as needed.

For those who can drive to Manchester NH I used this facility today and have my green check mark ready to go. They say two hour turn around....it was less. It is a mobile unit set up at the Mall of NH. You can book ahead and I strongly recommend it. Prepay gave me a discount for the most expensive test.
