NON SMOKING!
My very reliable source is a resident and just messaged me.
She was at the casino this afternoon and an announcement was made over the PA system.
No Smoking.
As she said to me this is "the best news in this otherwise not great news time!"
Woo hoo!!! Oh please let it stay that way!!! There were days we would go in and turn around and leave because it was so smoky. Would love to see all the casinos nonsmoking.

we quit 25 yrs ago, and there were times when I wanted to buy a pack this past year.
I bet there were MANY who wanted/needed a smoke recently.
This definitely is great news for us. A smoke-free Alhambra is such a welcome change.
Like Peg, we would often go into the casino, then turn around and walk out because of the smoke,

I think they'd have to rip out and replace everything with a soft, odour-absorbing surface; stools at slot machines, carpeting, blackjack tables, etc and paint the walls with paint that seals in the odours.
I got a couple of private messages from members telling me that although the No Smoking is terrific for non smokers..................there are folks that are not happy.
They said that folks spend more $ if they are allowed to smoke.
So, is there anyone here that is willing to stand up and say "I smoke in the casino and am not particularly happy with this new rule"
