    Anyone know if Arashi Beach is open at this time? Was/is it closed for turtle nesting or something?

    arashi is open.
    there may be areas on the beach that are "yellow caution taped" for turtle nests.
    those taped off areas are usually late spring thru early fall.

    It went from a very quiet spot that got busier when the locals came on the weekend- now with busses dropping off there its much busier daily now.
