Really nice article, she really immersed herself into the culture and all that the island has to offer and the best of all experienced its people which is the best asset the island has.

What a great article! Is it bad that it makes me jealous of the writer for having had that opportunity?

I love reading or listening to first timers tell their stories.

And, BTW, how have I missed breakfast in bed at Old Man and the Sea all these years (probably because we late nighters sleep through breakfast)????

    and maybe a 55th b-day in Aruba, Feb, 2020

i wonder if "breakfast in bed" at OMATS was a special event just for the author?

i loved her enthusiasm about the whole adventure.

a very nice read! While enjoying the account of the activities she participated in I had to wonder how she got out the the private Island without staying at the Renaisance Hotel? My wife really likes it out there but we have not stayed there in 10 years now. We have only been on the Island once during Carnival and were lucky to have a 3rd floor room at the Renaisance that overlooked the main road and marina. It was a perfect place to watch hours of the celebration.

Great article. Can't wait until September! I would love to spend time in aruba a month at a time when I retire 10 years from now.
