Peg, you most definitely should do the beadmaking class with Marian. I did it last time I was there in 2016 and it was the highlight of the trip. She's an amazing teacher and so patient. Because I was there in August i actually was the only one signed up for that day and she didn't cancel! Since it was so slow i also got some to spend some time with Ciro in his studio. Should definitely be on everyone's bucket list!

Turtle hatching is on my bucket list for this year. But not sure if that's even possible in August. But figure Manchebo is the best place to be for a chance!
I’ve been thinking about taking her class for ages! Keep saying I’m going to do it and then decide it’s too hot to work with a blow torch!! Ciro’s Pottery is wonderful. He’s done some interesting things; adding goats or an iguana to the top of a terra cotta pot.

It is pretty warm and she doesn't have AC, but there are fans. I was worried about the heat as well but it was surprisingly comfortable. She'll offer you coffee and cookies and water of course. When you're done making beads, you sit with her in their shaded garden and assemble your beads into a key chain, bracelet or necklace. I really can't say enough about how enjoyable it was - and something really different to do!

    1. Keep snorkeling until we see a sea turtle.
    2. Pedal kayak tour with Aruba Outdoor Adventures.
    3. Stay in the 3 bedroom unit at Costa Linda that walks out onto the beach and has a grill and hot tub on the patio.

Can someone give me info on Terra Fuse? I would be interested in that though I never heard about it before.

    Gaby, here’s a link https://www.terrafusearuba.com/

I’m sure you have seen some of their work. The blue/green glass drops you see hanging at the airport when you arrive we’re made by Terrafuse.

I think, but cannot be sure....it is where Gaby of Aruba's Hands learned her craft!
