Wow, so many of you are so close to vacation time! For my family it is 5 months, 1 week, and 2 days. We will be at Bucelo, which is the location we stayed at 25 years ago when it was The Americana.
You will aslo find me perched on a seat with a cocktail in hand! LOL!

Nancy, I'm at the resort every few months.

If you booked Royal Club, Master Suite? which is full ocean front, is a fabulous room, with a
hot tub on the balcony. Best room at the hotel. this room would be floors 7-9
    is this what you booked?

As for a palapa, if you're staying Royal Club, in that room, pretty sure you won't have issues
    getting a palapa.

Royal Club also allows access to your own bar on the beach, limited to Royal Club only!!

    What are your dates?

Jeter is our 7 year old dog.

While in Aruba, was diagnosed with inflammation of his brain!!!

Thank god for Cornell Hospital, our local vet misdiagnosed him for two weeks!!

Worth the two hour drive, from Rochester.. First time ever, felt the urgency to cut our trip early, april..

On steroids and autoimmune medications, with chemo every 4 weeks..

Next week will be great, my son will be flying from LA, staying the entire time...

Ricky- We are going November 25 thru December 2. I am so excited, moreso because all of my family will be joining us. You see, When Buddy and I were married, I had been a widow with three children and for better or worse we all became a family. Well this anniversary is not only a wedding anniversary, but our family anniversary and this is the first time they all, along with their spouses and my granddaughter will be on a vacation together. YAY!!!

We did book the Master Suite with a connecting room and another deluxe ocean something room for my oldest and his wife.

I am so glad that we can get a palapa, and that we can have beverages on the beach. I thought I had to pack insulated mugs for my crew! LOL!
