Beside the added cost of prime season, what are the pro's and con's of vacationing in Aruba in February ?
Weather.....air & water temp, wind, rain, clouds, etc ..?
Is Manchebo Beach area overly crowded ?
Is AI a good option at the Manchebo ?

The only con I can think of is the possibility of missing your flight to Aruba because of weather but that’s a chance you take.
Manchebo is a small resort on a really wide beach so I don’t believe it would be overcrowded. That said, we’ve only stayed there in May or November/December. During those times there are palapas available throughout the day. As for AI, we’ve never done it at Manchebo. Their AI program is different from other AI properties in that it is set up so you order off the menu from one of their restaurants. Some dishes do have a surcharge but it’s clearly marked on the menu. The only reason we haven’t done AI is there are a number of restaurants in the area that we enjoy and we don’t want to be tied to Manchebo’s restaurant, although their restaurants are excellent.
Manchebo will not be crowded.... even if it's full there are in excess of 50 palapas for the 72 rooms and a huge beach! Pass on all inclusive as there are way too many great restaurants on the island..... and it's safe to travel off resort. Everyone speaks English, taxis are readily available and every place takes American dollars! Regarding the weather..... generally pretty consistent year round cuz it's so close to the equator.
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the best of men!

Many island destinations are all about all inclusive.
Usually because those destinations are not known for wonderful restaurants, or being safe to wander around in the evening.
Aruba is known for safety and restaurants.
Of the places that offer All Inclusive, I would say that Manchebo is probably the best.
But really not necessary.

We have been traveling to Aruba between Jan-Feb for the last 15 years. We always need to escape the cold weather. But as previously mentioned the weather can cause issues with flights. But we only once had a serious delay of 8hrs in a connection but knowing we were headed to Aruba helped.
We've stayed at Manchebo many times during February. It is never crowded. There's always plenty of available palapas and shade. The beach at Manchebo is my favorite in Aruba. February is our winter escape to Aruba. The weather is fabulous, nice and warm but not too hot. We've run into weather issues several times getting there and back, and once missed several days of our trip, due to a snow storm, but it's worth it to us. We don't do AI in Aruba. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance, and usually taxis are available at Manchebo to take you to the many excellent restaurants on the island.
Feb is one of my favorite months to visit. Its freezing at home and wonderful in Aruba so its a perfect time to go. I would only fly direct in Feb because of the weather issues. We only had 1 trip that we had issues with the weather getting off the ground but it was multiple hours so if we were connecting it would have been a disaster. Feb break is very busy but quiet besides that. Enjoy.
A few years ago, we flew out of Toronto in February. It was minus 29C on the tarmac (colder with wind chill) and the plane was constantly being de-iced and the baggage handlers had to stop every ten minutes due to the abominable conditions outside. I was doing a full roundtrip on the rosary to get the bird in the air. We eventually took off (thanks, Catholicism!)... an hour behind schedule. When we arrived in Aruba, it was 29C... I turned to The Spouse and said, "Polar opposites on a temp scale is insane... we're not leaving."
The moral of the story: February is great somewhere and sucks somewhere else. And even atheists become believers when it's minus 29C outside.
Happy to hear February is a good weather month in Aruba. We’ve been told by multiple cab drivers it can rain often in February, sometimes for a few days. Since weather has changed everywhere you can’t plan your trip by “rainy” seasons.
