I did for the first two trips. Then it became repetitive because we did the same things and ate at the same places.

However, I now have an app that I LOVE on my iphone that I use to keep different file folders for different things: login/password info for websites, lists of books, movies, pertinent info on parents that may be needed in an emergency, info I may need on the kids, food/drink I've had a various places I liked.

Now, I have a "travel" folder in which I set up a new folder for each trip with reservation info such as flights, lodging, car rental, excursions. I then can just make a quick list of where we ate during that trip and put a thumbs up or thumbs down next to the name. It's really simple. And, it's been really helpful when the conversation comes up "when did we go to to....." I've also recently learned I can add photos to the folders. Look out!

The app is Awesome Note 2. I've had it for a few years and it was a basic free app when I first got it; I think it's $2.99 now, but well worth the cost of less than a cup of coffee. It has "morphed" over the years and has quite a few things it does that I don't use yet. I like that you can make your own folders (like I did for logins) or use pre-titled ones. Like I said, I just started adding photos to the travel journal. You can also copy and paste text.

You can choose to have it open with a PIN, which is why I feel ok storing passwords in it. Someone would have to get to my phone, unlock the phone, know that I store stuff in the app and then know the PIN to get into the app. It's fortunate I can do all that. LOL

I do keep all my pix on computer though, upload them as soon as I get home so I don't loose them....seem to take a picture of that same damn yellow fish every trip....think he would swim somewhere else for a change !!!!

I take tons of pictures every year, when I look at the pictures during the cold winters I always remember what we did that day so that is my diary.

We have a digital picture frame on our kitchen peninsula that currently has about 350 of our favorite photos on it, all from Aruba. It plays constantly so we always "see" our past trips. Our journal is the trip reports posted here. We have a loose budget we stick to, but I'm afraid to keep up with the expenditures, I'd probably never go again.

We have a nice digital player frame Nixplay.
My son can directly load photos of the boys to us !!

We have got a lot of Aruba photos but they are all mixed up on the digital frame and no particular order.
