I got out to the pool at 7 am today and enjoyed some quiet time reading a Stuart Woods book
The sun was coming up and a few raindrops hit… very few.
I watched the folks sitting around run for cover.
The rain lasted less than 5 minutes and it barely hit the ground.
Rain stopped and all is well.
Aruba does have brief showers !
No real need to take cover!

I always get a kick out of seeing people run out of the water after a few rain drops. They’re already wet!! It’s kind of refreshing to get a little rain while you’re swimming.
I really like being in the water when it rains, it's calming to me. We watch folks run every time a raindrop falls. By the time they pack up all of their stuff, it's stopped raining.
Love those little showers....
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the best of men!
I get out of the water because I am worried about being struck by lightening. Probably unreasonable.
I do stash away my phone and Kindle when it rains.
Good thing you are just getting light rain. I am on Bonaire right now and we probably got 3 to 4 inches each night for the last 2 nights. The roads are a mess!
We had a couple of brief but heavy showers between 10 and 1130.
Gave us the break we needed for a quick drugstore and bakery run.
By noon it was normal again.

Even the rain in Aruba is therapeutic. I really enjoy the sound of it hitting the palapas.
