    ATM's

We will be staying 2 weeks this year and not renting a car. Relying on taxi and trying the bus. I will use our credit cards for most things. Are the ATM machines available on Palm Beach reasonable to use? I have read some on this but it seems as though it is a difficult process. I plan to take cash but just in case would like to be able to use the ATM? What are you feelings on this? I can usually get very good advice from all of you. Thanks for you help.

I've had experience using ATM machines in a few casinos - never a problem - just the fees. Make sure to contact your bank and let them know your travel dates so that the ATM withdrawals are approved without issue. You might also want to ask about the fees associated with an international withdrawal.

That was a quick response. We like to go to the casino and I thought there would be a machine there. I will be sure to check with our bank. Thanks for your help.

I never had a problem with using an ATM in Aruba...just the 3 or 4 dollar fee. I do think it's universal that you'll ALWAYS be able to find an ATM at any casino.

Sue, we have never had a problem using Holiday Inn or Hyatt atms, and both will be close to you.

We used an ATM on aruba at the seaport marketplace.
Choice is US $ or afl.
    I think we paid a $2.50 fee.

I have used them at the Ritz and the Hilton thru the years. I think the fee was $4 and never had an issue as others mentioned.

Like others say notify your bank. Mine was decline, but shortly afterwards rec'd a text from my bank asking if it I was trying to withdraw money at such and such location. Nice on the bank behalf

Does Bank Of America charge a separate fee on top of the fee you pay to the ATM company? Has anyone used the cashback option when using your debit card at a grocery store (superfoods) in Aruba? We always inform our credit and debit card providers the dates and location of travel so they don't put a hold on transactions.
