Beach in front of the new Embassy Suites?

Hello, I have been traveling to Aruba for the past 10 years and it is by far my favorite island. I have been seriously contemplating on purchasing a beach front condo. I have bee looking at the Azure/Blue, which currently has a very tiny man made beach directly across the street. However, now that the new Embassy Suites is being constructed directly adjacent to Blue Condominium....I was wondering if they will be somehow extending the beach from Divi. I feel that this may be an asset to to Blue/Azure. Does anyone know their intent? I would appreciate it, thank you

We have been told the Embassy Suites will be improving the beach. I do know they are starting work on the pedestrian tunnel from the hotel to the beach. I saw that posted by DOW and I know that along with the beach improvements were part of the agreement with the government to build. I do not know how much of the beach they have to improve. I'm at Oceania and the manager told us this information. We looked at Blue/Azure and opted for Oceania because the beach is better, and the condos are larger. However, the views from Blue/Azure are amazing.

Thanks for your reply, well appreciated. I also have been looking at the Oceania, however it does not seem there is anything in the 2 bedroom market there. A friend of mine lives in aruba and was able to get me on What’s up video to look at several apartments at The O Condominium. However there are no two bedroom apartments that are direct Oceanview. Also you have to be at a minimum on the fourth floor in order to see the ocean as a result of all the trees in front. Three bedrooms basically close to a million with direct ocean view.

I do know of a two bedroom for sale on the second floor of our building(Palm). It is now listed with Aruba Home Finders. It has been on the market close to 4 years. I think the reason it hasn't sold is they always pull it off the market during high season because it is usually rented.

I just closed In June on a condo at Azure and I was wondering the same thing about beach improvements. I’ll contact my sales rep and ask and let you know. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get down to Aruba to see the condo yet. I just cancelled my third trip (I was scheduled to leave this Sunday 9/13). I was all prepared to go this time, but when I heard about the PMs latest announcement, thought it best to postpone.

spoke to my sales rep and she told me that the area from the rock jetti in front of Blue heading toward the Divi Phoenix is the beach area that will be cleaned up and used for Embassy Suites.
