We do beach everyday. Sometimes a Dip in the pool but we both much prefer the ocean.

We are 100% beach (and, it’s totally worth it to us to get up early to get a front row palapa).

Please tell me more about this anchor you speak of!!! I am a CT girl, and usually am not able to stay still long at the beach or at a pool, however for some reason in Aruba I am in that water most of the day. But the drift! I am bringing a little sling chair for the pool, but I would love to know what you use for an anchor on a float in the ocean.

Amazon has them. You just fill them with sand. Something like this https://www.amazon.com/S%C3%A5k-Gear...=ACF1CCU9ZUYCB

I leave it up to the wife. She likes the pool if the skies are clear with the sun bearing down and will go to the beach if it's mostly cloudy. She gets to hot in the direct sun and won't go in the water unless it's perfectly calm. It usually ends up being 50/50.

We are the same way. Boyfriend gets up to secure just the right palapa every morning and we park ourselves in it for the day around 9am. Not much of a pool person, which is funny as we have one at home. Even at home, we got to the beach and come back to rinse off in the pool. We like to sit around the pool in the early evening before the bugs come out and it's nice when we have company, but we are more beach people.

I think that forum member SUE M also bought one of the anchors.
