My cat sitter said all is good.

At surfside beach/reflexions beach today no one had their stuff locked except me.
We have a small padlock with cable and a small beach bag that we rigged up. I will take a phot and send to Jacki.
We felt very comfortable doing that in place of the pacsafe . Worked ok in a pinch.

yikes..never ordered pac safe or anything else...although I never really take anything to the beach that is of value....and never get in ocean where belongings are out of site although I do not know if I could do anything about it if I saw someone take something....
hotel key is usually in my shorts pocket...drink (most important) in my hand in ocean !!!!!
no time to go looking either, I leave on Saturday morning...YAY !!!!!

thats exactly what we use, the small cable with a lock. It's not that sturdy, but I just consider it a deterrent that would slow someone down. We are usually close enough to our room to just avoid bringing valuables, but when we go out and about snorkeling it makes me feel better.

great idea, where do you get a lock like that connected to a cable already? I would love to have one of those... I do have the kyss bag but this is great as an extra

the lock is from Amazon a few years ago. Maybe $10.

the bag is an old one that we carry beach stuff in.
It holds lotions. I pads and other small stuff.
I am glad we packed it.

We we do have a kyss bag but it is cheaply made and the chain is flimsy and the seam stitching unraveling. It is on a shelf in closet. Money wasted.
