Are you required to take the all-inclusive plan at the Occidental? I'm not sure about the choice of beer under AI there, so you may need a trip to the market or local grocery for Bud.

Andrea.............EVERYTHING tastes better in Aruba !!!!!
But, I am a beer drinker...as well as a Martini drinker....and I love Balashi. Have tried Polar (yes Venezuela) and like it as well. Amstell is also a favorite..
I also agree that your fiancee should test the local beers...If he drinks Bud, he'll like Balashi.....

LOL...Y'all have made me want Balashi right now!!!!!

The Occidental is AI and I will need to check if they have Bud, but I'm pretty sure they do since they claim they offer a "wide variety" of beer.

If not, he will like the Balashi I am sure. The Balashi brewery is actually on my "to do" list after our wedding, once our honeymoon starts b/c he loves brewing his own beer and loves to visit places like that!!!!

Thanks so much for your input! I may now have to grab a Bud Light out of the fridge just b/c of this discussion.....

Many Beer brands to choose from and remember to bring your wallet because everything is imported, except Balashi, and very expensive.

How much does Balashi beer cost? I'm traveling to Aruba on Sunday (from USA) and we're staying at La Cabana, which is not all inclusive, so we want to stock up our room with beer. A cost in USD or AWG will be fine. Thanks!!

Cool Make sure you buy your beer at the grocery store

24 Budweiser (7 oz bottles) will cost you about $28-30 USD at the local grocery store while Balashi (25CL bottles) will be a little cheaper (i.e. about $24-25 USD).

BTW - Balashi is a pilsener while Bud is a lager - something to keep in mind if you prefer lagers.
