    Boy o Boy...........isn't it nice

That the added Covid protocols (requirements) are no longer in place for Aruba travel.
The anxiety, stress, confusion and frustrations are but a distant memory.

We can say that we did it, survived it, and it was a pain...but our trips we probably better as a result.

Yes!! I was ok with most of it, but the anxiety of finding a testing place that could get the results in time to depart was over the top. 2020 wasn't bad but last year was ridiculous.

We traveled to Aruba in 2020 and 2021. Our Thanksgiving trip in 2020, although with massive restrictions, was our favorite ever.

I did enjoy having so much pool and beach to myself in 2020. The curfew bugged me once or twice, but I got over it rather quickly. It was nice to have most of my friends come back to the island in 2021, though, since I go alone.

I went to Aruba December 2020 staying at the Divi Phoenix. I really enjoyed the resort at 30% capacity but felt bad for the economy. No Palapa or pool chair hoggers anywhere! I could go down at 11am and had my pick. The resort was offering a 2 for 1 happy hour all day for the guests as a thank you for coming and supporting their economy. I don't think I drank more than other trips but it was convenient to get the 2 for 1 anytime of the day instead of a set time. I usually had dinner around 7pm and could get the 2 for 1. Yup it's in the past now! I also went May 2021 and Sep 2021 and did not like the having to test before and after but went thru the protocol..I stayed safe all trips dinning outdoor mostly, always wearing mask, getting vaccines, boosters etc.

I have to agree with everyone, that doing Covid, it was nice on the island-quiet, the sewage plant did not stink, no need for reservations. Several of us had our own "bubble", but we really missed our friends who could not come down. I do not miss all the protocols.

Yes so nice not to test to return and actually our trip in July there was a large group that tested positive on return home including my wife .. They would have all had to stay longer and deal with the process. I cant wait 5 more weeks and ill be back !

    Ahhh the curfew.
In Nov 2020 which was incredibly awesome vacation in Aruba..........the casino curfew was our only complaint.

That vacation in Nov 2020 was awesome!!
It was a good vacation and the Arubans were so appreciative of us visiting.
Walt, was it that vacation that "the dancing police" were at Moomba?
