    Construction Progress?

We will return to Aruba in January. Wondered what progress is being made on the hotel next door to Screaming Eagle.

If you look at SusieLovesAruba trip report pictures, you can see the a couple of shots of the construction site, as viewed from Oceania.

Mohair, I could tell that they were really moving this construction along at a fairly good pace as I could see much more had been done on my last day there. I should have taken more pics so you could see the difference. While I was there they worked 6 days, off on Sundays, they start very early too. I got used to the noise in the morning - it was sorta my alarm clock It will still take them awhile but I was amazed on the difference of the site in the 10 days that I was there. They basically had the ground level pretty much done it looked like. I work for an engineering company and I always find construction sites pretty amazing and it interests me.

It is supposed to take 5 years to build. They work a week or two full on, then almost nothing. We are figuring it'll be longer than 5 years.
