is it still possible to move to aruba with a criminal record or is it a 100% never going to happen. given that this incident happened when i was 16 and was not serious and i have not been in trouble since then. i would like to buy a home in aruba and visit evry year and rent out and then eventualy relocate permanently to aruba and start my own business which i know will not be easy thank you in advnace.

    i have no idea.
but, given the fact that oj simpson owns a home in aruba i would say it is probably likely that you can own there.
as far as establishing residency, that is a whole other issue.

At 16 you are a minor and its not on your record ,unless you did jail time.

One thing you do need is a good-conduct paper from a police department that cannot be more than 2 months old.

In most cases, anything you may have done prior to turning 18 is sealed.

And just think.... if you are an Aruban, every five years they purge your record no matter what the crime. Amazing.
