We no longer care about tour excursions. Been there, done that. Now we're just here for the beach.

One thing we never did was feel the need to meet and hang out with people. Of course the feeling may be mutual and that is fine. Been going to Aruba for over 40 years (on and off) and have a couple we hang with when they are there but honestly my wife and I just like being with each other. For some reason after 100 years together we never run out of things to discuss or talk about. We are NOT that couple you see that don't seem to say two words to each other where ever they are.
We will have brief conversations with people at the pool, restautant or near palapa but usually it is started by them.
So this May we will once again enter our together mode as we head to the airport.
Agree with all the rest you folks have said.
A wise man never knows all......only fools know everything!
We no longer feel the need to go to Aruba yearly. Still love our time there but feeling the need to spread our wings a little and explore the USA.

Hope I’m not straying too far off topic, but my husband tells me I’d talk to anyone. He’s more quiet than me. My last encounter was in the supermarket pasta aisle talking to a gentleman about the pastina situation. I told him I grew up on it ( not Italian ) and he told me his grandkids love it. He told me somebody on EBay wanted $15 a box! When I caught up to my husband I told him I was talking about the pastina situation with some guy. He just rolled his eyes! He knows me well!
